El Nido, Philippines: An Elopement Wedding Film
The El Nido sunset that I took for granted.
"Nah. I'll see this again tomorrow. “
”And the week after.”
”And almost every week next month."
”And the month after.”
Then COVID-19 happened and a community quarantine + lockdown was announced just a few days after this. Although "tomorrow" came to be, "the week after", "almost every week next month" and “the month after”? That didn’t happen. I mean, it’s already September. I’m normally out of the country this time of the year.
Damage report? All my scheduled El Nido shoots from March to May. Los Angeles. Bali and Singapore back-to-back. Osaka. Seville, Spain, then Paris or possibly Morocco. Then a few more El Nido shoots towards the end of the year. All cancelled, or indefinitely postponed. But hey. I’m not complaining. My testimony on Provision will knock you off your shoes.
To all my April and May couples - hold on, keep your heads up high and be steadfast. This shall come to pass. And we'll be seeing you guys again real soon. (September 2020 update - I guess that will be next year then.)
